Tim Clague

Tim Clague is a BAFTA-nominated British screenwriter, director, and producer specializing in family-friendly films and television. He gained early recognition with his short film Eight, which earned a BAFTA nomination for its poignant exploration of a young boy's love of football and his absent father. The script won the Jerwood Film Prize and was produced by Working Title, directed by Stephen Daldry. In collaboration with Danny Stack, Clague co-founded Nelson Nutmeg Pictures, a production company dedicated to creating stories that are feelgood, funny or family orientated. Their debut feature, Who Killed Nelson Nutmeg?, a family adventure film starring Bonnie Wright, premiered at the BFI London Film Festival. They continued their partnership with the sci-fi adventure Future TX, which was released in UK cinemas and later in the US. Since then, they have directed three TV movies for North America, a summer romance, a Christmas film and a royal romance picture. Their award-winning preschool series Dog Years is available on Amazon Prime. Currently, they are developing The Spy Who Licked Me, a spy/dog body-swap family comedy supported by Screen Ireland. And, with Sam Morrision, they have written the animated family feature, Aliens FC, which is in production now
